Niantic has announced that Axew will be the featured Pokémon for the upcoming Community Day event in Pokémon Go. The event will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
During Axew Community Day, Axew will appear more frequently in the wild. Players will also have a chance to encounter a Shiny Axew, which is a rare variant of the Pokémon with a different color scheme. In addition, there will be several bonuses active during the event, including:
- 3x Catch XP
- 2x Incense effectiveness
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
Players who evolve a Haxorus (Axew’s evolution) during or up to two hours after the event will learn the Dragon-type attack Outrage. Outrage is a powerful charge move that can be very useful in PvP and PvE battles.
